Ironman Arizona and Family

Well, it looks like I'm not doing Arizona and maybe not another Ironman for a while.  After talking with Nicole I realized that although it would've been awesome for her and Adiya to be there, the expense was just too great and with wanting to have another child I had to get my priorities in check.  Even though I'm a coach and can write much of what I do off, it still falls under spending money.  I'm not a fan of charge cards so I'm not going down that road again.  I know many who charge their lives away and that's just not for me....at least not anymore. I used to do that and paid for it dearly and so I avoid it at all costs.  I will still continue to train, compete in shorter races and that are local.  If I ever do another Ironman it will be one that we can drive to.  I've done plenty and I'm just in a difference place in my life and the sport means something different to me than it does to other people.  I'll just continue to develop my training knowledge and work with others to reach their goals.  Stay tuned!
