Becoming one with your training
What does this title mean? Well, it means to stop training with music when you/i am outside? Why, because I believe that doing so takes away the sensors needed to become one with what you are trying to accomplish. I believe music takes away the feel needed to be able to pay attention to what your body is doing and how it's adapting to all aspects of the session. Depending on what songs comes on, your pace can increase or decrease without knowing. Natural running or cycling allows you to be one with the session and connect with your body so you can sense when things are going right or wrong. Will I have my phone on certain sessions? Of course I will for safety. Oh, I will also stop clock watching because I want to learn how to get in the zone and not worry how fast or slow I'm going and get back to feeling the pace, then check data once the session is over. Let's see what that brings.:)
